Clinical Education Specialist - Medical Surgical Telemetry

Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing.

Master`s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred.

Minimum of three as a Registered Nurse in acute care setting.

Demonstrates ability to assess the need for, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, cost-effective educational programs for staff. Maintain educational records.

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates orientation programs for new staff.

Assists in development of competencies for clinical staff. Collaborates with other departments/nursing areas to ensure consistency and to avoid duplication.

Promotes the advancement of nurses by offering a variety of learning opportunities planned for nurses in different stages of the Novice to Expert continuum.
