Compensation & Benefits
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop software to integrate NVIDIA’s Doca Platform Framework (DPF) and Data Processing Unit (DPU) hardware with the Red Hat OpenShift container platform.
Develop and implement end-to-end automation frameworks for the testing and validation of the DPF Operator on OpenShift, ensuring robust performance and reliability in complex, multi-node cluster environments, and conduct performance analysis and benchmarking of DPU-offloaded networking to validate and document high-throughput and low-latency capabilities.
Lead the integration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux CoreOS (RHCOS) with BlueField Boot (BFB) and HyperShift to enhance the deployment and management of DPU-accelerated OpenShift clusters.
Collaborate with strategic partners to troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize system performance, and document platform-specific deployment and configuration changes.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and mentorship on cloud-native networking and hardware acceleration.
Contribute to the core development of installation and provisioning technologies for edge computing, including the Assisted Installer, Single Node OpenShift (SNO), and image-based installation workflows.
