Requirements

10 or more years of corporate tax experience with a Law Firm, Big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate tax department

Possess a solid understanding of broad corporate income tax concepts including experience with M&A transactions and tax implications of foreign operations

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to distill complex tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for both tax and non-tax stakeholders

Strong computer skills utilizing MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Serve as a tax team lead to collaborate with product, legal, and finance teams to identify tax risks and opportunities related to new product launches and business initiatives

Analyze new initiatives and provide comprehensive income and indirect tax requirements based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders

Drive system requirements and testing on new initiatives with engineers and data teams

Lead tax structuring planning opportunities related to domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and reorganizations

Conduct and oversee tax due diligence for potential acquisitions and investments

Manage post-acquisition tax integration planning and partner closely with legal, finance, and corporate development teams to ensure tax requirements are met

Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This role will be reporting to the Senior Director of Tax. You will help lead our tax team to support new global product launches and corporate transactions in pursuit of the company-wide objectives.

The Senior Manager Tax, Product and M&A position will be located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
