Requirements
8+ years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream impact on the business and product ecosystem
4+ years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features.
A track record of successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to drive adoption and retention.
Experience building products for developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineering Manager for Product Engineers, you will lead a group of talented builders creating the core developer experience of the Render platform.
This role blends strong technical leadership with product thinking: you’ll partner closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into high-quality, scalable systems that developers rely on every day.
You’ll be responsible for guiding technical direction, developing engineers, building the team, and ensuring the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while maintaining the high standards that define Render’s platform.
Lead and grow a team of product engineers, supporting their development through mentorship, feedback, and clear technical guidance.
Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch, balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality.
Partner closely with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
