Regulatory and Licensing Counsel

Strong experience working with fintechs or in the financial services sector.

Juris Doctor (JD) and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (US or equivalent).

4-7 years of combined relevant experience in law firms and/or in-house legal departments.

Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Experience with consumer finance regulations - familiarity with laws and regulations governing consumer financial products and services, including compliance with advertising, disclosure, and data privacy requirements.

Ability to work independently and adaptively, anticipate and mitigate friction points, and take the initiative to drive projects to completion.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory and Operations Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance and Legal Officer, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced fintech environment, providing legal support across a variety of business areas. You will work alongside various departments to develop new products, negotiate agreements, advise on legal risk and regulatory compliance in a variety of areas, support, and corporate matters. Product Counsel

: partnering closely with the product and compliance teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice throughout the product development lifecycle with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and user trust.

Contract Review & Drafting:

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts to support business operations.
