Requirements
You have previous experience in a similar role within the metal recycling industry, specifically in materials inspection, is highly desirable
You have knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, their properties, and common contaminants or impurities
You have familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used for measurement and inspection, such as scales, callipers, magnet testers, etc.
Responsibilities
Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Identify and segregating non-conforming materials, such as contaminants or prohibited items
Utilizing appropriate tools and equipment to measure and verify the weight, dimensions, and composition materials
Collaborating with the operations team to coordinate the movement and storage of materials within the yard
Communicating and reporting any deviations from quality standards

What we offer:
Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD23.00 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours.
