Procedure LPN spends 50% or greater of their time supporting clinic procedures within the scope of licensure.

These responsibilities include being able to independently support departmental clinic based procedures and perform necessary documentation/paperwork.

Includes knowledge and practice of independently setting up a sterile field; preparation, set up, and clean up of procedure room; knowledge and independent implementation of sterilization/HLD of procedural instruments and principles/ practice of decontamination and standard precautions.

Independently supporting clinical procedural patient care.
