Responsibilities

The Design Engineer is responsible for the development, design, and validation of heads, blocks, and housings castings and associated components.

This role focuses on creating robust, manufacturable designs that meet performance, quality, and cost targets.

The engineer collaborates cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to ensure designs are feasible, reliable, and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities include 3D modeling and drafting, material selection, tolerance analysis, and supporting product validation through testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Design responsibilities and project leadership related to organizing, coordinating, and executing the development, testing, and analysis of heads, blocks, and housings.

Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance.
