Ability to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications

Must be computer literate and have current/proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Must be able to communicate effectively, demonstrate professional conduct; excellent written & verbal communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure

Because the job function may include communication with customers over the phone, communication skills must be clear, concise and with confidence

Experience in the Glass or Construction industry is a plus

Create Door Fabrication detail packages for the Door Fabrication Department from customer quote requests, sales orders and shop drawings.

Check all data provided on a given project to ensure that the project is detailed accurately. (ACCURACY IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT)

Check for hardware compatibility with doors and frames detailed.

Order vendor hardware for detailed projects.

Coordinate the receipt of vendor hardware.
