Responsibilities
The APRN/PA is a skilled healthcare provider who has completed an educational program that provides specialized certification and is regulated by either the Arkansas State Board of Nursing or the Arkansas State Medical Board.
An APRN/PA manifests a high level of expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating actual and potential health problems of pediatric patients and their families.
An APRN/PA possesses an advanced knowledge level, skill, and competence in the provision of care to specific patient and family populations and serves across the care continuum as a clinical resource for patients, families, staff, and the community.
Provide direct clinical services for patients according to established protocols and utilizing evidence-based clinical practice standards in collaboration with a physician.
Obtain patient health histories, complete physical examinations, and interpret hemodynamic data.
Document pertinent normal and abnormal findings.
