Requirements
4 years of commissioning, design, or construction experience in mission-critical environments
Advanced understanding of data center infrastructure and supporting systems.
Experience with Tier 3 / Tier 4 data centers
Advanced understanding of construction drawings, specifications and submittals.
Familiarity with Uptime Institute standards and/or ASHRAE guidelines
Knowledge of redundancy topologies (N, N+1, 2N, 2(N+1))

Responsibilities
The Data Center Commissioning Engineer (CxE) is responsible for the field execution of mission-critical commissioning activities throughout the US.
The CxE reports directly to AECOMs Commissioning Project Manager, and ensures that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and controls systems are designed, installed, tested, and operate in accordance with the Owners Project Requirements (OPR) and related industry standards.
Throughout the project, the CxE collaborates closely with the AE, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver reliable, efficient, and resilient data center infrastructure.
Lead and support commissioning field efforts for new construction and retrofit data center projects
Performs independent commissioning design reviews for compliance with OPR.
Contributes to the develop of the project commissioning plan and related L1-5 procedures.
