Requirements

Implement inventory optimization strategies and collaborate with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory.

Identify and sprint to mitigate any potential risks within the supply chain, including supply disruptions, quality issues, or geopolitical issues.

Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that may affect the supply of battery cells and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.

Negotiate commercial terms with key suppliers to drive maximum value for Lucid.

Analyze supplier costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements; lead the negotiations and drive results.

Track and report cost savings initiatives and their impact on the overall supply chain budget and vehicle BOM cost.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective prismatic battery cell suppliers.

Manage on-going communication channels to ensure alignment on supplier performance, expectations, and improvements.

Address any issues or concerns promptly to ensure continuity of supply.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance, such as quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Regularly evaluate supplier performance against set KPIs and rapidly initiate corrective actions.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions aimed at creating maximum value for Lucid.
