Requirements

Proven experience developing and implementing site-wide fall protection programs, standards, and work practices.

Experience supporting large manufacturing, aerospace, heavy industrial, or maintenance-driven environments.

Experience with site-wide fall protection assessments, system standardization, and equipment inventory or inspection program management.

Responsibilities

This role is to provide overarching occupational health and safety expertise to one of Apex’s most valued clients, a national aerospace manufacturer.

Over the last 2 decades Apex has worked hand and hand with the national aerospace manufacturer helping them achieve their occupational health and safety, ergonomic, environmental and engineering goals.  The incumbent will serve as a Senior Fall Protection Safety Specialist and act as a site-wide technical lead for fall protection.

The Senior Fall Protection Safety Specialist will begin their project in the Puget Sound Washington area learning the client’s current fall protection program, operations and processes for one month.

Once trained, they will then deploy to Wichita KS to support the implementation of the fall protection across a new site.

The incumbent will act as the primary subject matter expert for all fall protection-related activities at the site.

This full-time, onsite role will lead the development of site-wide fall protection strategies, standards, procedures, and execution plans across manufacturing, maintenance, facilities, and operational support environments.
