Requirements

Five (5) years of professional experience as a paralegal or similar role in a law firm with a focus on financial transactions, corporate transactional work including project finance, securities, structured finance or public finance law

Compensation & Benefits

This is an exempt, full-time role with a compensation range of $99,500 - $110,600. A compensation offer is based on a candidate’s background and years of relevant experience, with consideration for internal equity. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President, General Counsel, the Closing Paralegal will manage the post-closing requirements of core fund loans, the closing of special loan fund loans, and documentation related to extensions and amendments of portfolio loans. This role is essential to advancing NFF’s mission by ensuring that lending activities are executed with rigor, compliance, and care, enabling the organization to deploy capital responsibly and effectively.

Additionally, the Closing Paralegal will support the general operations of the General Counsel department.

This role will provide broad support to various functional areas in the department, including compliance and documentation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who brings sound judgment, a strong sense of accountability and collaboration, and a commitment to advancing NFF’s mission through careful, compliant execution of legal and lending processes.

Formation and dissolution of special purpose entities for the NFF’s NMTC team

Support special projects as required to support the business
