Senior Accountant, Income Tax

Prepare/review federal and state income tax returns including detail support and calculations for Partnership and Corporate return compliance including multistate apportionment.

Prepare income tax extensions and estimated tax payment calculations.

Assist with preparation of income tax provision under ASC 740 and related work papers.

Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.

Assist with taxable income projections and forecasts.

Assist with Unclaimed Property reporting and compliance process.

Senior Accountant

Under the direction of the Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for handling various aspects of Carvana’s income taxes providing accurate, timely preparation and reporting of key financial schedules and key financial statements. This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the company’s income tax and other regulatory compliance.
