Responsibilities
The Manager, Product Sourcing Engineering supports engineering and production teams with the development and execution of sourcing plans.
As the Manager, Product Sourcing Engineering this individual will be responsible for managing a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers who will be the central point of contact for all supply chain needs in the product development process internally and externally.
In this role, you will work with engineering, product program office and the broader production leadership team to support strategic sourcing initiatives and planning in pursuit of program and manufacturing goals, and lead cross-functional projects to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
You will partner closely with the SoCal Product Sourcing Engineering team to execute visions and troubleshoot issues with the supply base, working toward relevant localization.
Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business goals, aiming for supply continuity, quality, efficiency and cost optimization while enabling the business to scale significantly.
