Requirements
Minimum 7 years of combined accounting and finance experience, preferably in the retail industry (fashion/footwear an asset).
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
Experience with BI tools and financial dashboards an asset.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (ASPE and IFRS)
Proven experience creating financial statements and managing the full month-end/year-end close cycle
Responsibilities
The Finance Manager is a hands-on leadership role, acting as a trusted business partner to the Country Manager, and responsible for all finance, accounting, and controlling activities for Geox Canada.
As part of a small, agile team, the Finance Manager is expected to personally perform key operational tasks while also shaping financial strategy.
The Finance Manager will manage one Accounts Payable Administrator and serve as the primary financial liaison with our Italian Headquarters, ensuring alignment in reporting, compliance, operations, and strategic objectives.
