Nuclear Safeguards and Materials Control & Accountability (MC&A) Analyst/Engineer

Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.

Ability to perform trade studies and make clear recommendations using first principles and engineering fundamentals even with partial information.

Proficiency in MC&A software and tools, including database management systems.

Familiarity with nuclear material measurement techniques and instrumentation.

Experience in nuclear safeguards or MC&A at a nuclear facility.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Nuclear Safeguards and Materials Control & Accountability (MC&A) Analyst to join our team.

In this critical role, you will ensure compliance with nuclear safeguards regulations, develop and implement MC&A programs, and support operations by maintaining accurate material control and inventory tracking at a nuclear fuel cycle facility

Develop, implement, and maintain MC&A programs to ensure compliance with NRC, DOE, and international safeguards regulations.

Monitor, evaluate, and report on nuclear material balances, inventories, and movements to ensure accountability and regulatory compliance.

Analyze and reconcile discrepancies in nuclear material accounting and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation related to nuclear material control and safeguards.
