Senior Data DevOps Engineer

Impact.

You will operate within one of Canada’s largest customer ecosystems, with millions of members and multi-partner data flowing through the platforms you help build and operate. Your engineering decisions will directly shape how Scene+ understands loyalty behaviour, enables partner value, and scales its next phase of growth.

Ownership and influence.

You will help define the blueprint for Scene+’s next-generation data platform, modernizing data practices, strengthening observability and incident response, improving lineage and metadata frameworks, and advancing engineering standards across the organization. You will own meaningful components of the platform and leave a lasting architectural and operational imprint.

Who we need

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Data Engineering & Data Governance, we are hiring a Senior Data DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, deployment, and ongoing operation of our data platforms. In this role, you will design and maintain automated pipelines that move data solutions from development into production, with a strong focus on system stability, deployment management, monitoring, and recovery. You will partner closely with Data Engineering, Platform, BI & Data Science, and Security teams to enable consistent engineering practices and ensure our data systems are reliable, scalable, and well governed.
