Requirements

H.S. School Diploma or GED; ability to read and write
At least two (2) years of experience in production operations and safety knowledge preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Receptive of additional training for the broadening of skills.
The position requires precision and is very detail oriented.

Responsibilities
Overview:
The Forklift Operator II is required to possess a high level of forklift operational skills and the ability to train/onboard new forklift operators. Operators are required to move palletized fruit from set-off and storage areas to loading areas for truck and cold storage; may be required to bring filled and palletized fruit from packing area to storage or loading of trucks from time-to-time. May transfer other commodities where forklift is needed.

Sets the bar for the highest level of safe operation of equipment
Assists with the leadership of in-house Forklift Operator training
Coaches and trains other operators in the expectations of safety and performance
