Vice President, Engineering

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

15+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles.

Proven success leading large, distributed engineering teams in complex or high-growth environments.

Deep expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and APIs.

Experience leading large-scale platform modernization; AI/GenAI experience strongly preferred.

Track record of improving engineering productivity, accelerating delivery, and driving operational excellence.

Lead engineering strategy, execution, and transformation in close partnership with the CTO and senior leadership.

Architect and scale highly available, high-performance platforms using modern cloud-native and microservices architectures.

Drive an AI-powered productivity transformation, introducing AI-assisted development tools and workflows across engineering teams.

Set and deliver engineering excellence standards across CI/CD, observability, incident response, technical debt reduction, and operational KPIs in alignment with our Platform Engineering strategy.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, globally distributed engineering organization and senior leadership team.

Drive a culture of velocity and quality focused on a stellar user experience for our players: mentor engineering leaders, and encourage innovation.
