Requirements
Perform routine outside plant maintenance, including handholds, fiber drops, and related infrastructure.
Diagnose and initiate repairs for outages, light loss, and other network issues.
Test fiber using OTDR, VFL, and other testing equipment to verify network integrity.
Establish fiber cross-connects for customer activations.
Demonstrate a working knowledge of central offices, active cabinets, and backup power systems such as UPS and generators.
Perform fiber splicing using mass fusion and ribbonizing techniques.

Responsibilities
, you'll play a key role in building, maintaining, and expanding Ting's fiber network.
You'll perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of outside plant infrastructure, including conduit, fiber, splice enclosures, cabinets, and utility locating.
Independently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Ting's fiber outside plant network.
Perform drop burials from the fiber plant to the Network Interface Device (NID) using appropriate equipment (plows, shovels, etc.).
Blow fiber drops from splice enclosures to customer premises without supervision.
Couple and proof microduct pathways independently.
