Requirements
4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience required; graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferred
8+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations
2+ years of experience managing security engineering or security tooling teams
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, VM, Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation tools
Strong scripting and automation skills including Python and experience building automation workflows, integrations or tooling to support security operations
Experience maintaining security tools in both cloud and on-prem environments
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.

Responsibilities
Supports implementation, stabilization, and daily operation of Security tooling
Lead lifecycle management of enterprise security tools and platforms
Manage and mentor a team of security engineers responsible for deployment, integration, tuning and operational management of security technologies
Drive and develop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual efforts
Partner with security operations to ensure tools support operational workflows
Establish metrics, KPIs and maturity roadmaps for security tooling effectiveness
