Requirements
In accordance with
RCW 49.58.110
, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience, which includes six (6) months of full-time experience in marketing, gift solicitation or public contact work with evidence of ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing and organize and execute assignments. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis
Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities
As the
Development Coordinator
, you will provide comprehensive administration and oversight of scholarship, financial, and donor-related functions for the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS). You will serve as the primary point of contact for CAS scholarships, managing all aspects of scholarship programs, including coordination with academic units, Financial Aid, Development, Stewardship, and the Washington State University (WSU) Foundation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the timely and compliant awarding of scholarships and fellowships; overseeing fiscal management, reporting, and compliance for CAS 17A support and development funds; and administering Gift Use Agreements (GUAs) and Current Use Agreements (CUAs) in collaboration with Major Gift Officers and Foundation partners. You will also support donor stewardship through accurate reporting and communications, maintain related databases and records, and provide general office administration, event support, and front-office customer service while exercising a high level of confidentiality.
