Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships support PitchBook strategic priorities through establishing third party relationships and delivering revenue, exposure, improved market penetration and/or content to PitchBook. The team works closely with PitchBook’s Segments & Solutions, Direct Data, Product, Data Operations, Commercial, Marketing, and Research, RevOps, Legal and/or Finance teams to execute on partnership opportunities to maximize the growth of the PitchBook business.
Partnerships are designed to extend PitchBook’s reach, establish relationships to improve the workflows of our clients, enrich PitchBook’s original data and research with differentiated content, and identify strategic investment opportunities. The Partnerships Manager is responsible for the lifecycle of partnership management including the day-to-day management of a portfolio of existing partnerships, proactive outreach to prospective partners, and evaluating inbound partnership opportunities. This role requires someone with an enthusiastic approach to relationship management, ability to weigh partner interests against PitchBook strategy, interest in corporate strategy, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and an enthusiasm for building relationships within a cross-functional team environment.
Contribute to partner sourcing efforts by identifying and evaluating new data, research and capability providers aligned with business needs
Manage ongoing relationships with named partner contacts, ensuring service quality, and contract compliance
Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with Legal and Finance
