Requirements

4-Year College Degree in an Engineering Discipline (or multiple pieces of evidence of outstanding individual technical achievement)

Evidence of End-End Product Ownership: Experience building all parts of software from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment

Personal Projects: Rich Github history with examples of personal projects that can be shared with the hiring team and/or open-source contributions

Technologies: Next.JS, Java Script, React, React Native, Python, PostGres

Design: Ability to create intuitive, clean, and professional products without a dedicated designer or design system

AI: Strong understanding of how to implement and train AI systems into SaaS products and willingness to learn and adapt to building voice agent

Responsibilities

We are looking for 0 to 1 Software Engineers to join an elite team that is building out Archer’s Airline Operations Software Ecosystem. All experience levels and specialities (Full-Stack, Back-End, or Front-End, Web, and Mobile) are encouraged to apply.

Archer is on a mission to not only unlock the skies with our aircraft Midnight, but with the entire software fabric that goes into running a large, sophisticated airline operation. This role enables you to be one of a few people to craft the future of urban air mobility by the building agentic software that powers it. The products you will be building in this role will be integral for Archer’s LA2028 Olympics operation and to support the logistics, routing, performance, and dispatch of our aircraft for decades to come.

Archer’s Airline Software team operates with Startup DNA and as such, we are looking for engineers who thrive in an autonomous environment where you will be encouraged to make product, design, and architecture decisions. The Airline Software Team is by design lean to provide engineers with career defining opportunities to design and scale an application that will touch millions of passengers a year.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following.

Build Great Software: Take product requirements and turn them into beautiful, reliable, and high quality web and mobile applications

Product Development: Lead end-to-end technical execution and receive full ownership of the software development lifecycle
