Requirements

7–10+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing environments.

Experience supporting multi-site operations or enterprise EHS programs in regulated environments.

Experience supporting GMP manufacturing operations and regulatory compliance programs.

Ability to partner cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain, and laboratory personnel across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across all ProKidney sites, supporting laboratory, manufacturing, and operational environments.

Establish standardized EHS policies, procedures, and safety management

to ensure consistent safety practices across multiple locations.

Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, CDC, and applicable biosafety and laboratory safety standards.

Provide oversight of site EHS leads or local safety representatives, ensuring alignment with company-wide safety expectations and regulatory requirements.

Oversee laboratory safety programs including chemical hygiene, biosafety practices, hazardous materials handling, and safe laboratory operations.
