3+ years of experience as software engineering manager
5+ years of working in software engineering
Development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages such as: Golang, Python, C/C++, Java
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scalability) of new and existing systems
Proven ability to identify user needs and deliver customer-centric product solutions
Responsibilities
As an Engineering Manager on the Community Discovery team, you will lead one of three engineering teams working collaboratively to build innovative discovery experiences on Twitch. You'll partner closely with an applied science team to integrate cutting-edge algorithms into production systems that directly impact millions of daily active users.
In this role, you'll oversee the development of software and services that power critical discovery features including recommendations, search, feed ranking, and notification relevance—helping creators connect with their audiences and viewers discover content they love.
You can work from Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA; or from one of our hub locations in Seattle, WA; Irvine, CA; Los Angeles, CA or New York City, NY.
