Requirements
Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) or demonstrated extensive clinical experience (minimum 3 years) in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy (older generation oral and newer injectable medications).
Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in endocrinology.
Demonstrated competency and comfort in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions.
Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of CGMs, insulin pumps, and complex insulin regimens.
Demonstrated experience working with APPs, medical residents, or trainees in a clinical academic setting.
