Requirements

Must have a University degree in Business, Sciences or Computer Information Systems or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing strategic application support and systems analysis in a Human Resources or Payroll environment;

OR

Must have a post-secondary school Community College diploma in Business, Sciences or Computer Information Systems or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience providing strategic application support and systems analysis in a Human Resources or Payroll environment;

OR

Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma, with an additional one (1) year of post-secondary education in Business, Sciences or Computer Information Systems or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of six (6) years’ experience providing strategic application support and systems analysis in a Human Resources or Payroll environment;

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Employee Service Centre and Total Rewards, this position will be responsible for:

Supporting the overall design, maintenance and administration of the Human Resources Information System;

Maintaining data integrity between various systems, performing data analytics and report development, and maintaining the technical function of the Corporation’s E-Learning Platform;

Acting as liaison between internal stakeholders (Human Resources, IT, Corporate Departments, etc.) to ensure all system-related compliance obligations are met from both legislative and negotiated perspectives;

Researching, translating and documenting interpretations of various regulatory measures and Collective  Agreements to ensure systems are properly configured, tested, and deployed;

Configuring and maintaining both the Human Resources HCM system and the Time and Attendance system to ensure they are properly configured, fully compliant and secure and meet both the functional and business needs of the Corporation;
