Requirements
3 years of relevant work experience in a medical facility (doctor’s office, long-term care facility, hospital) as a medical assistant
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Professional Certification required
Associates degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant
, e.g., pulmonary function testing, hearing conservation (CAOHC), etc.
Provide excellent customer service to all levels of the workforce

Responsibilities
Assist in examination, treatment, and assistance of patients under direction of Physician, Advanced Practitioner, Physician Assistant and/or RN in compliance with state practice acts and regulations.
Application of splints, braces and wound dressings.
Perform audiograms, pulmonary function testing, and other testing.
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination.
Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials as needed.
Perform routine CLIA waived laboratory tests/collects specimens for routine laboratory tests.
