Responsibilities
Provide Occupational Safety & Industrial Hygiene support to existing operations to ensure sites understand existing requirements for local, state, federal laws or Albemarle policies and procedures.
Support strategic and tactical industrial hygiene plans necessary to develop company policies, programs, and standards; meet company goals; and ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain awareness of emerging IH issues and interact with external agencies such as OSHA, NIOSH, NFPA, FM Global or other professional associations.
Provide technical support to global locations for comprehensive exposure assessment and management program implementation.
Apply scientific, exposure risk management, and engineering principles to drive EHS risk reduction efforts and compliance activities.
Identifies needs and supports chemical agent sampling and analytical method implementation and development including real time detection systems, exposure limit and hazard band development.
