Requirements
Extensive knowledge and experience in inventory controls and inventory management.
Comprehensive knowledge of distribution & warehousing processes, controls and best practices.
Strong knowledge of Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, and audit processes and activities.
Strong understanding and experience with ERP and WMS systems (SAP preferred).
Strong knowledge & experience of medical device regulations a plus.
Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Principles.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for activities related to overseeing raw materials through finished goods inventory and ensuring control and compliance of inventory processes for all USCAN sites.
This role partners with multiple Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams, along with Quality, Audit, and Illumina Digital Services teams to ensure inventory accuracy, organization, and analysis.
Responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and material control systems activities related to material control and inventory control functions.
Establishes strategic directions and goals for Inventory Control functions.
Develops, modifies, and executes company policies, procedures, and work instructions that affect immediate operations and may have enterprise-wide effect.
Ensures Inventory Control and SOX compliance with cycle counting, inventory adjustments, materials requiring segregation, and 3PL inventory reconciliations.
