Olsson is seeking a Commissioning Technical Manager to support our Substation and Power Generation team. This role utilizes advanced commissioning and electrical expertise to serve as an experienced technical resource while developing project management knowledge, skills, and experience.

This Commissioning Technical Manager will work alongside clients in a staff augmentation capacity. They will work with project managers and technical teams to support commissioning activities, resolve technical challenges, and coordinate schedules and deliverables to ensure operational and safety standards are met. This role performs project management duties on smaller portions or phases of larger projects and does not serve as a firmwide technical authority.

Follow safety protocols and practice site-specific safety procedures at all times.

Serve as an experienced commissioning technical resource, applying field

5+ years of experience in commissioning, electrical systems, substations, power generation, or related infrastructure.

Strong understanding of electrical safety, commissioning methodologies, electrical power systems, and field-testing practices related to substations and power generation.

Experience supporting project execution in coordination with project managers.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team

oriented approach.
