Compensation & Benefits

Responsibilities
The Volunteer Program Manager will implement the Volunteer Services Strategies for Recruitment, Onboarding and Engagement of individual and group volunteers to supplement BMC staff resources.
Reports to Director of Volunteer Services
Manages volunteer availability, engagement and scheduling through Vsys, the volunteer management software system;
Assists in recruiting volunteers through local media, web, social media and outreach in partnership with Marketing and Communications
Develops/reviews/updates volunteer handbook for internal use that provides policy, information and guidelines for staff and volunteers;
Works to keep volunteers properly informed about the BMC and their duties, through orientation meetings, group sessions, newsletters, emails and phone calls;
