Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst II is responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and providing financial analysis in Natural Gas Business Unit (NGBU) FP&A supporting Piedmont Natural Gas and Duke Energy Midwest Gas in KY and OH.
The analyst will work closely with teammates, peers, and management on various financial activities including preparation of NGBU internal reporting, monthly and YTD variance reporting at a granular level.
This position will primarily support O&M work, consulting and partnering with NGBU leadership on financial priorities and challenges but will also be available to assist with capital support as needs arise. This position works closely with the overall Finance organization as well as Regulated Utility Gas Operations Accounting group.
Employees are building their knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Prepare NGBU reporting including the functional O&M, ROCR and ad-hoc requests
Work with business partners to develop O&M budgets and upload into Onestream.
