Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

Eighteen (18) months of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. CPA Pharmacy Technician manages the complex process of getting drugs approved for eligible patients within the organization by supporting prior authorization needs for designated clinic teams within a centralized, pharmacy run program. This position handles benefit verifications, insurance authorizations, and prescription redirection as requested. Streamlines workflows, reduces costs, and ensures covered entities maximize savings from the federal 340B program by using covered entity pharmacy when possible. Responsible for managing the Multi-Step Order Transmittal (MSOT) queue. Completes prior authorizations, understands PBM formularies and resolves billing issues.
