What Makes You A Great Fit

:

Must hold a current Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in the state of Texas.

Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record, which allows candidate to be covered by agency insurance policy required.

Prior education and/or experience working with the developmentally disabled or other long-term care or home health care experience is preferred.

Must be mature, flexible, self-motivated, dependable and able to work cooperatively with individuals, staff, interdisciplinary team members and outside agencies.

Responsibilities

The

Registered Nurse (RN)

will assure that each individual assigned to his/her caseload receives quality, individualized health care management resulting in optimal health. Health care will be provided to individuals in a manner which is normalizing, sensitive to their needs and respectful of their dignity, while encouraging autonomy. The RN functions as a health resource to staff and will, in conjunction with supervisors and in accordance with the State of Texas Department of Public Health, assure that the home is in compliance with all licensure requirements and organizational policies regarding health issues, medical care and records.
