AppDirect is looking for a Manager, Software Development to lead an autonomous engineering team within Tackle, our Cloud Go-to-Market business unit. You'll own the technical direction and day-to-day delivery of the Tackle platform and Tackle for Salesforce applications. You're a hands-on leader who balances deep technical involvement with genuine investment in people development. You champion AI-driven process improvements, and foster a great culture. 3+ years experience leading, directing and inspiring development teams preferably in a growing startup environment.
Deep understanding of AWS Serverless architecture patterns.
Have a track record of building and coaching high performing teams who love what they do.
Strong experience with project management, including breaking down and estimating large features
Responsibilities
Leading the day to day responsibilities of an autonomous team of 6-9 developers, with a dedicated Product Manager and UX support to build, enhance and maintain existing areas of the Tackle and Tackle for Salesforce Applications;
Bring exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Provide strong architectural guidance to the team
Conduct 1:1s with developers, focused on coaching and building career development plans.
Identify opportunities for AI-driven tools & process improvements, ensuring measurable ROI and improved efficiency.
Drive velocity improvements with exceptional process, architecture and tooling
