Responsibilities
This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic provider engagement and network initiatives across a designated geographic region, with a focus on supporting Blue Cross NC Medicare Advantage products.
The position serves as a key liaison to professional, institutional, and ancillary providers, ensuring compliance with negotiated agreements while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with provider organizations.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers and key decision-makers to strengthen network performance, enhance provider satisfaction, and support Blue Cross NC's market leadership objectives.
Through innovative approaches, this role drives provider retention, improves the provider experience, and helps reduce administrative burden and transaction costs.
The position collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive provider service strategies, deliver consistent communications, eliminate duplicative efforts, and improve overall service delivery.
Additionally, this role is responsible for provider contracting and relationship management activities for select statewide providers and enterprise initiatives, including emerging healthcare solutions such as virtual care, point-of-care technologies, and other provider-focused programs.
