5+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles in an aerospace and/or defense manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of AS9100 standards as well as knowledge of MMAS Systems, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 52.245-1 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Part 245.
A proven ability to implement and maintain compliance systems.
Experience supporting compliance audits, including internal assessments and external reviews (e.g., DCMA and DCAA).
Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals
Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards related to material management activities.
Responsibilities
Work with support teams on the implementation of material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 52.245-1 and the Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 252.244-7001.
Develop processes that increase the efficiency (speed & elimination of waste) and effectiveness of Anduril North Carolina (ANC) material management.
Implement necessary systems at ANC for the compliance of material & inventory management.
Implement End-to-End material management measures (Government and Capital), including FIFO adherence, material variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence management, cycle/physical counting, and audits, etc., to ensure inventory accuracy and to mitigate stockouts or overstocking.
This includes the development & improvement of critical metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including government property, procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality, to aid in accurate demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery of materials.
Team
Anduril North Carolina is seeking a Federal/Capital Material Manager to support the Anduril Composites branch. As the Federal/Capital Materials Manager you will be responsible for creating a strategic plan to stand up the Material Procedures and Processes, ensure compliance per the FAR and DFAR, and maintain the systems/processes going into production. The right person for this role will have knowledge on the development and implementation of SOPs, has implemented or improved ERP/WMS, and has a track record of properly managing federal/capital inventories and systems. If you are someone who can operate autonomously and enjoys process/procedure implementation and improvement this may be the role for you.
