Senior Software Engineer

6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production applications

Experience developing applications using Javascript/Node.js, Python, or both

Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

Experience building and maintaining API integrations

Full-stack application development experience

Experience working with AWS cloud services

In this role, you'll work directly with finance, operations, and investment teams to build software that powers investor reporting, fund operations, portfolio management, and internal business workflows across Alumni Ventures.

A significant part of this role involves transforming spreadsheet-based processes and manual workflows into scalable applications and automated systems.

You'll build tools that move, transform, and manage critical business data while helping the organization operate more efficiently and make better decisions.
