Responsibilities

Develops and promotes the use of effective methods of communicating with physicians, managers, peers, trainees, and staff on a regular basis.

Maintains confidentiality of all information.

Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Department Specific Functions

Completes administrative tasks associated with clinical operations at the Mailman Center for Child Development including patient scheduling and registration, maintenance of patient waitlists, provider and trainee support, ordering of clinical supplies, patient communication (via mychart messages, phone, and email), and generating of patient estimates.

Coordinates with Central Insurance Verification (CIV), Central Business Office (CBO), Facilities, Office of Patient Experience (OPX), Patient Access, On Demand Scanning, Information Technology (IT), and Health Information Management (HIM) teams for all clinic and patient needs.
