Lead Water and Wastewater Operator - Sudbury

Minimum 5+ years of progressive operational experience in both drinking water and wastewater systems, with senior-level experience preferred

Demonstrated experience operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements

Experience with compliance monitoring, process control, laboratory interpretation, and operational reporting

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude

LSW and OIT licences are acceptable for the water systems currently operated under this role.

This is a senior-level operational position designed for an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in both drinking water and wastewater systems.

We are seeking a dependable senior operator to provide oversight across Aquatech’s Southwestern Ontario operations.

This individual will help keep eyes on the region, support less experienced operators, attend sites as required, and ensure operations remain safe, compliant, reliable, and well-supported across a broad service area.

Provide senior operational oversight for water treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection systems across Southwestern Ontario operations

Support and guide less experienced operators through technical direction, mentorship, site checks, and operational follow-up

Monitor treatment processes and make operational adjustments to optimize performance
