Senior IT Auditor

Metropolis is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join our growing Finance and Internal Audit organization.

As we scale our AI-driven platform across thousands of locations, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our technology stack is paramount.

You will be a key player in building out our internal audit function, focusing on the systems that power our computer vision, payment processing, and cloud infrastructure.

Deep familiarity with AWS/Cloud security, SQL, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and automated CI/CD pipelines

A passion for AI and the "real world" technology Metropolis is building

Deep understanding of how data flows through complex AWS environments and automated payment gateways

Lead risk-based audits across our technology ecosystem, including cybersecurity, cloud operations (AWS), DevOps, and data privacy

Support our SOX 404 efforts by evaluating IT General Controls (ITGCs) and automated application controls with a focus on automation and real-time monitoring

Work closely with our Revenue Platform and Product teams to ensure "compliance by design" as we launch new verticals and payment features

Leverage data analytics and AI tools to streamline audit testing, moving away from manual samples toward continuous assurance

Clearly communicate audit findings and partner with stakeholders to track remediation and process improvements
