Associate Director/Sr Manager, R&D

PhD or BS/MS in molecular biology or related field

6-8 years of post PhD biotech industry experience or >10 years of post BS/MS biotech experience for Associate Director level, 4+ years for Manager level

Prior experience in NGS, CLIA, high throughput automation is required

Prior experience managing teams of 3+ employees and extensive cross0functional collaboration required

is a strong technical lead who manages research and development activities for new products and product improvements in NGS based diagnostic tests. They manage a team of direct reports to build, verify and validate robust products. They actively collaborate with cross functional teams and provide technical expertise to drive product performance.
