Responsibilities

As a Zoo Companion Animal veterinarian, you will exclusively care for the avian, reptile, small mammal and other exotic species at our hospital.

Patients will be served through Primary Care service, referral from local veterinarians, and in coordination with our 24/7 Emergency Department.

As with all specialties, this service will integrate with other departments, including Surgery, Radiology, Ophthalmology and Emergency, to comprehensively serve patient needs.

About the Company

We’re located in beautiful Marin County, which offers a wide range of outdoor recreation, arts, and culture and fantastic proximity to San Francisco, Napa Valley, and Lake Tahoe. In February 2025, we moved into an expansive new 30,000 sq. ft. building, custom-designed for our needs. In addition to the natural light and hilltop views of the San Rafael Valley, our new hospital will feature a Hallmarq MRI, Toshiba CT machine, two x-ray units, GE C-arm fluoroscopy unit, central ICU, dedicated rooms for Endoscopy, Ultrasound, and staff wellness.

Our current team consists of 15+ experienced Emergency doctors, 2 Criticalists, 3 Internists, 2 Surgeons, an in-house full-time Radiologist, a Neurologist, a Cardiologist, and an Ophthalmologist. Our culture is collaborative and fun, evidenced by our high retention of emergency doctors, specialists and support staff and through long-standing relationships with our referring veterinarians. We have built a reputation that places us at the center of our unique community.
