High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications in logistics or warehousing preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a shipping and receiving role, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
Extensive forklift operation experience in an industrial environment.
Capability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
Proficient in using warehouse management software (WMS) and other computer programs.
Experience with international shipping regulations and documentation.

Responsibilities
Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping and Receiving lead is a crucial role in managing warehouse logistics. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in forklift operation, and shipping both domestically and internationally. The role involves overseeing the entire shipping and receiving process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading the shipping and receiving team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Managing the preparation and processing of shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
Operating forklifts to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and organize inventory.
