The Toronto Star is expanding its Ottawa bureau to redefine federal political coverage for Ontario. We are looking for seasoned reporters to deliver high-stakes, enterprise journalism that connects the corridors of power on Parliament Hill with the lives of Canadians. The successful candidate should be scoop-driven and relish leading breaking news and big stories. As a federal politics reporter for the Star, you will be expected to push beyond the daily news cycle to translate complex policy, economic disruption, and party politics into authoritative journalism that shapes the national conversation.
