Exotic Options Trader

3-6 years of experience in exotic options trading

Strong quantitative skills in pricing complex derivatives

Familiarity with the sell-side landscape and a track record of building productive counterparty relationships

Able to think critically and implement new ideas

Experienced teaching others and open to learning new techniques

Strong communicator with excellent planning, analytical, and people skills; comfortable coordinating across time zones

We are looking for an Exotic Options Trader based in NYC to work closely with our local and global options teams. In this role, you'll price complex derivatives, identify trading opportunities, and strategically manage relationships with our sell-side counterparties.

Exotic options trading at Jane Street sits at the intersection of our single stock and index options businesses. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across products and regions, contributing to idea generation, model development, and strategic positioning. Partnering with sell-side counterparts is a core part of the business, and we are looking for someone who can cultivate these relationships and help us access flow we might otherwise miss.
